NEW "Skip A Pay" Program
Now you can skip a loan payment when the time is right for you - twice per year - during the months of your choice. Use the cash to ship for the holidays, go on vacation, pay your taxes, save up for a large purchase or just plain catch up! Here's how to skip a loan payment:
1. Most TCFCU consumer loans are eligible. Loans that ARE NOT ELIGIBLE include: Mortgage, Home Equity, and Visa.
2. You must be a member in good standing with the credit union.
3. All your loans must be current.
4. Any loan delinquent over 30 days in the last 12 months is not eligible for the SKIP A PAYMENT program.
5. There must be at least 6 consecutive months of payment history to be eligible.
6. There is a $35 processing fee per loan in order to skip a payment and payment of this fee must be presented before the request can be processed.
7. If approved, your regular monthly payment will resume immediately following the month you have indicated.
8. You can stop by the credit union to fill out the SKIP A PAYMENT form (the form must be received at least three (3) business days prior to the loan due date).

You're Covered With Courtesy Pay
It can happen to anyone. You make an honest mistake in your checkbook, and suddenly you realize you don't have sufficient funds to cover all your outstanding checks and transactions. With Trivantage Community Federal Credit Union's Courtesy Pay Program, however, you can avoid some of the expense, hassle and embarrassment of an inadvertant overdraft. With Courtesy Pay, your Credit Union provides qualified account holders overdraft privilege of up to $500 for your checking account. If you overdraw your account, we may pay your overdrawn checks up to this $500 limit, including a $30 per-item fee. Transactions may include ATM withdrawals, debit card transactions, share drafts, ACH (automatic clearing house), or EFT (electronic funds transfer).
With Courtesy Pay:

You will not pay merchant returned check fees

You will not pay collection agency fees for returned items

You avoid the embarrassment of item returned for insufficient funds

You have additional protection for your good credit
To get Courtesy Pay protection, you don't need to do a thing - you're already covered if you have a Trivantage Community FCU checking account with overdraft protection. We will always look to pay any overdraft via your overdraft protection first. Courtesy Pay is just an additional layer of protection for you.
If you do not want to be protected by Courtesy Pay, you may "opt-out" by requesting a form from any of our three branches or by visiting a branch and signing an Opt-Out form. Remember, Courtesy Pay costs you nothing unless we actually pay an overdraft check or transaction for you. Call the credit union today for further information on our new Courtesy Pay Program.
Your Trivantage Community FCU membership must be in good standing to qualify for the Courtesy Pay Program. Courtesy Pay overdrafts must be repaid with in 15 days. We reserve the right to discontinue Courtesy Pay privileges at any time or refuse to pay any item at our discretion.
